At Penyffordd Football Club, we believe football is for life.

Our Veterans section provides the opportunity for players aged 35 and over to continue competing, enjoying the game and remaining part of the club they love.

Competing in the North East Wales Veterans League Division 2A, the team were crowned Division Champions for the 2025/26 season, a testament to the commitment, quality and togetherness that define the squad.

Whether you've played at a high level, are returning after time away, or simply want to enjoy competitive football with friends, our Veterans section offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where football, friendship and community come together.

Veterans football is about much more than the result on a Sunday morning.

It's about staying active, supporting one another, sharing experience with the next generation and continuing to wear the badge with pride. Many of our players are also coaches, volunteers and parents within the club, helping strengthen the connection between every section of Penyffordd Football Club.

Our long-term vision is to provide a complete football journey from Mini Kickers through to Veterans Football.

The Veterans section is the final stage of that pathway, ensuring players can continue enjoying the game long after their senior playing careers. As outlined in our Club Strategy, we are committed to sustaining thriving Over 35s and Over 40s teams while exploring future opportunities such as Walking Football, creating lifelong opportunities for participation within the club.
